Knotted

Some knots he tied some knots he broke
Some knots he tried just couldn’t cope
His stomach knotted, twisted, gnarled
Such knotted feelings, knotted world.

See marionettes of life swing by
the soundless singers flying high.
Sometimes they nod, sometimes they show
they understand the need to go.

It’s knot his life, there’s knot a hope
He’s knotting high a knotted rope
It’s knotted to a beam – tied tight
But knot for long, undone tonight.

See marionettes of life swing by
those soundless singers flying high.
Sometimes they nod, sometimes they show
they understand the need to go.
