I began this blog in frustration – there had to be places out there, where poetry actually got read, without having to fit with a competition agenda or be judged and fail. I found my place in the responses to the words I released into the world.
A poem is a child to me – poems have their own lives and it is up to them to be read or unread: all I can do is encourage and accept. We learn and grow together.
My cave is growing and changing. Now I read and write more poetry than ever before. I hope you spend some time by this fire.
I have a book, too – called Snailbeach Tails. It is an illustrated novel for grown-ups who believe in stories and dare to dream. Please take a look:
I agree entirely with all of that, never a truer word 🙂
