Looking without sight

Milk bottles taped to tired eyes
World view contorted.

Ripping them aside
Reveals broken detritus
Unstable footholds.

to an inaudible

song, shifting

between worlds

we choose not to speak about.

Listen to them sing.

My eyes have softened
yet I have greater focus,
and see how things are.
