Thursday is awkward,
bookmarked by too many elbows,
constrained in its choices,
pinned between Wednesday and Friday,
hemmed by projections from the rest of the week.
This extract, squeezed from the page of its incarceration,
doesn’t begin to express Thursday’s vast potential
as a story in its own right.

  1. My personal view is that Tuesdays are the worst day of the week. Mondays have a sort of inevitable feel to them, get to lunchtime Wednesday the week’s half over. But Tuesdays are just marking time.
